Hi, I am a new member living in the desert of Southern CA. I am a woodshop teacher at a local Middle School and found this sight while researching for information on turning pens. When I saw how much information there is on this site I signed up. Thanks to all that share this information. Goldbarron

Hey Bruce, good to see you here. Everything having to do with pens is here...somewhere. : ) Lots of good wood to be found also.
 
Welcome from western New York. The local turning club here has members who volunteer at one of the schools and teach the students how to turn. They make several projects throughout the year including pens.
