Hey Gary Max - End of the Season

Hi Gary,

Just thought I'd let you know we hit the end of another shed hunting season up in the Green Mountains. We ended up with 51 moose sheds, a deer shed and a complete deer skull & rack for our best year ever. The sheds are from Vermont's Northeast Kingdom area as well as Northern new Hampshire. Riley is again the annual champ with 27 of the total, including a set that weighed in at 17-1/2# and 18-1/4#.

P.S. What do you do with Moose antlers? Make pens??

My buddy & I measured the distance in between the antlers of a mounted moose head we encountered in a store at eight inches. When we put the two "monster" sheds eight inches apart they measured 68-3/4" wide at the widest point. We're guessing that on the moose they must have been between 5-1/2 and 6 feet wide. I bet he had fun getting through the trees at times.

Pens, lamps, candelabras, clocks, etc.
