I am about to dive in and try to make some blanks. I am goning to do PR think it will be the easy way to go.

Here is the snag i have gone to www.artstuf.com and found the things I think I will need.

1) clear casting
2) pearwhite
3)resin dyes
and for the power dyes i was thing the trial sizes of Nu-Antique.

Has anyone used Nu-Antique? And if so about how many blanks is the trial size make.

thanks
Keith

I've never heard of Nu-Antique. Most people here use mica powders. You can find them at Coastal Scents, or pear-Ex powders from Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Some of the vendors here also sell it.

The Resin most used seems to be Silmar 41. You can get it from US Composits, or Illstreet Composits. Both of these also sell dyes. But you can also get them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. There is also a resin called Casting Craft that you can get at Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Hope this helps.
