I have the attached bottle stopper, got it in a bag of 10 assorted blanks. I'm not sure what it is, maybe stabilized wood? anyway there are some holes in it. I've used CA to finish pens as well as the Brown and White Hutt wax sticks (sorry can't remember their name). I'm worried about trying either of these because of the holes. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thin CA will fill the holes and nobody will notice them. You could also use shellac. If you just use wax, use the brown because if you use the white, you'll have white holes.

If you use some gap filling CA and lightly sand the stopper on slow speed the slush will fill the holes. Hit it with some accelerator and then sand up to 600 and apply another few layers of CA and finish it with some Hut Ultra Gloss Polish. It will look great.
