Help Needed

I havn't been casting long and I need a little help. I used Alumilite ciear and pearl x powder (aztex gold). My pen blank came out cloudy and I am not sure why. Did I use too much powder? Any sugestions would be welcome.

Too much part A can result in white / cloudy resin. Did you measure out the two parts by weight (before adding pearlex)? If you measured by volume, you can have problems.

Thanks for the reply Ed. I do measure by weight but the b is thicker and I end up using less b by volume. I may need to try a different scale.

Possibly a little bit of moisture in your pressurized air Doesn`t take much to cloud Alumilite .
