I have been playing around with the casting and made some blanks with stickers. The casting turned out great but when I pressed the kit into the tube (Wall St. Style)It gets air pockets around the edge like the PR isn't sticking to the tube. I was using gunmetal color pen tubes I purchased. Does any one know what I'm doing wrong? Thank You for Any Help!!!!!!!

sounds like the fit is too tight and is streatching the brass and causing it to release. I would either sand down the pen part or the brass so the fit is not so tight and use a drop of Blue Loctite to hold it in.

Couple things to consider Dave; PR or Alumilite, Pressure/no pressure, Are you shooting the decal with clear? I know...didn't answer a thing, but those are some of the things that came to me.

Chris is right on. I use a dremal with a small sanding drum and sand the inside of the tubes on both ends untill the mating part is almost a slip fit, then use a little loctite and all is good.
