Hi! Just joined. Happy to have found the IAP! Retired Engineer with a workshop and lots of tools. Just started turning pens. Having a great time. Having a problem with Steel CIty. No Customer Support. Can't find a replacement drive belt. They don't answer the phone here in Ontario. They don't answer their E-mail in the U.S. Otherwise I am a very happy guy! Can anybody help me? Is there a way to make a drive belt?:eat:

Welcome Dave. I have Steel City mini lathe and managed to get a "faulty" switch. Keep trying, they do respond eventually,albeit very slowly.

welcome, im from Markham so pretty close and I have a steel city lathe as well. I just called them this morning and the receptionist picked up right away! Mind you she then had to give me another number to call tech support and they also picked up and helped me out as well. I just wanted to know some stuff so i can pick up a chuck but I didn't have a problem calling the 1877-728-6651.

just wanted to add markham industrial over by woodbine and hwy7 is one of their distributers and will gladly order in stuff that you want. Thats where I picked up my steel city lathe. =]
