Live Near Adamsville Tn in West Tn. Been reading the site for a while, just getting around to getting everything lined out to start turning pens.
Also will have some (Giant tree 30" Through) persimmon Wood Sawed up this winter. Plans are to air dry most of it. Then after I get the Solar Kiln build finish it in there. But would like to dry some for Pen blanks faster. Any ideals on the best way to dry wood fast for Blanks? Will also be making one Duck call for a buddy out of it for Christmas also.

Welcome to the IAP Pete, have a look in the forum library as there are a few turners who microwave blanks to dry them faster, never tried it myself though!
