I am new to turning anything. I have just purchased a JET JML1014l benchtop lathe and the guy threw in a bunch of pen turning equipment with it. I love the idea and I am looking forward to doing some projects.
I study and look for ideas while I'm on the road working and plan on trying them on my off time.
Always looking for tips, tricks, or advice!!!

Welcome from Southern California! There's a lot of good info here, and a wealth of info in the library. There are also several good pen turning videos on YouTube, and some so-so ones as well. I read a bunch, and watched several videos before I turned my first pen, and am glad that I did.

As mentioned, the IAP Library has a wealth of information.
Also, check out Ed Brown's videos on ExoticBlanks.com. The whole series will be of great help. Ed is also a member of IAP.
