Fantastic to join this forum. I have been turning for the last year or so, and love making pens. Hoping to learn heaps. I love photography, so I want to make pens and photograph them well too. Lots to learn! Its blazing sun here at 45 degrees c

You are not alone with the heat, we are now getting that heat wave that has been affecting other parts of Australia, started today with nearly 40°C and a prediction of another 4 or 5 days with temps over 40°C so, will see...!

Certainly hearing you with the heat. Norwest Western Australia is still hot and steamy from the last cyclone and could have another one on the way by next weekend.

You will learn most of what you need to know about pen turning from this forum. The members are very generous in both ideas and advice and are quick to give a pat on the back when it is deserved. Enjoy your new addiction!

All our talk about 40 + deg C days while our Northern Bretheren, are in (what ever) - deg F is probably bringing a touch of envy.

Humm..! what is going on with this weather, you guys were suppose to get all the hot weather however, we are on our 4th day of temps over 40°C and today with a highest expected of 46°C :eek:

I'm glad I have a good air-con and the house is small, and I don't have to leave the house, even though, I always do even if after sunset.

Can we have some :rain: , please...??:wink::)

Today our temp is fantastic at the moment 28 and highest 34. We had a bit of a drizzle yesterday.
