Hey everyone!

Been turning pens for about a year now. Trying to expand my skills as I get time. I am a High School carpentry teacher so I am not trying to make a career out of selling pens, but it has become a nice little side project. Hope to learn alot and share any pointers along that might help someone else!

Come join us at our Pen Turning group which is part of Alamo Woodturniers. We meet the first Thur of each month - 6:30 at the Woodcraft store on San Pedro/281. A lot to learn and a lot of fun. We would welcome your background skills too.

I have great memories from my days back in woodshop. I only wish my kids could have the chance to enjoy what I did in school. Budget cuts suck for the schools! Now their shop class in in our garage, that is when I can get them away from video games.:biggrin:
