Good afternoon to everyone. I'm looking forward to searching through this really nice site.
I'm nearing retirement, expecting to bring my woodworking hobby up a notch or two. Been building furniture for many years, clocks, and (lately) toys for the grandkids. I've been turning pens for the last few years to provide selling stock for my daughter's crafting site. But, I've never been entirely happy with the finishes on many of them.
SO...I'm on a quest for the best durable, high gloss finish I can develop; for use on pens and seam rippers.
Looking forward to learning from the folks on the site.
