Hello Everyone!

I'm pretty new to this, but have learned a lot from a friend of mine and also by reading lots of good things on this Forum! So thank all of you for the help!!

As of now, I've been turning pens for about 4 months and am slowly getting the jist of it all. What I am really having problems with is organization.
I've accumulated quite a bunch of blanks, kits, parts, and bushings over the past few months, and I am trying to figure out an effective way to organize all of it.

What are some methods that you guys use? Right now, all I've been doing is spreading it out on an 8' table, and its covered with stuff. I need a much better method, not to mention the room!

And help would gladly be appreciated. Thanks again for the help!

Welcome from Texas
You can get lots of storage ideas here and whatever works best for you is the right way to do it.

I use these roll-around carts from Office Depot to store the blanks & kits that I use most often: Office Depot Brand Medium Plastic Storage Cart 6 Drawers 26 716 H x 12 116 W x 14 14 D Black by Office Depot

I keep lesser used blanks & kits in plastic "shoe boxes", label them & stack them on an old metal bookcase that I salvaged from work. I store my bushings in small plastic boxes that I picked up at the local dollar store (10 for $1.00).

I highly recommend a visit to Harbor Freight or a dollar store if you want to browse for some inexpensive storage solutions

Thanks for all the great ideas!! I'm heading to Harbor Freight on Sunday!!

Thank you to all the warm welcomes!! It's great to be here! I look forward to hearing from all of you and learning as much as I can along the way.

Thank you again Everyone!!

Cheers!!
