Hello everyone. My name is Terry and I have been turning pens for about 10 years as a part-time hobby. Having just turned 55 last month, I've kinda decided to get a little more serious about it and build up some stock for craft shows in the local area (at least until I retire). Stand forre-warned folks, I will be trying to pick your brains on things along the lines of finishes,and other pen making stuff, and even website development. I'm really looking forward to learning, and trying to make my humble contributions to the site.

Hello from someone else in SC. I guess that is a hat trick. I used to have a license plate that said AXEMAN. Because I play guitar. Is that the same reason you picked that user id?

That is exactly how the name came about...back in the 70s when I was an aspiring Rocker. The name was given me by the guys I was in a band with, and has sorta stuck.
