I'm Dick Mahany and I've been turning for about ten years, but have never turned a pen (soon to change ! ). When I discovered this site, I was blown away with the incredible talent that I saw here. I have also been very much impressed with the civility, helpfulness and genuine quality of the many threads that I have had the pleasure of reading.

The turning vortex has pulled me in even deeper and I can't wait to make my fist pen. I look forward to learning a whole lot here. Happy Holidays !!
