My name is Cherie Eppler, better known as Cherie Lee to many on the scroll forums and Facebook.

I became a member here sometime around the beginning of last year and have been hidden away more or less. I have just recently been able to turn some pens, basically the Slim lines which is fine with me.

First off I am a scroller at heart and it is my first love. (well except for Jaun) Ok second love, and then there is pen turning. I have met many people via Facebook and probably many of you here I have met there. Tossing ideas and just sharing our work. I am in awe at the amazing pens ya'll make. One day I will be able to do the single barrel pens and will be very happy. But for now I will stick with Slim line. (my brother brings me some at times)

I have found that I love to turn corian and believe it or not, Dymondwood. (now if I could correctly sharpen my tools)

Happy to be back here and I will try to stay on and keep up. Have a great day all.

Welcome Cherie, from far west Kentucky, to the addiction, sometimes referred to as the vortex. There are other scrollers on site, I am not one of them. The work you all put out is amazing to me. I have a scroll saw but have not developed the true love for it. I prefer to watch ribbons fly off something square going round. Again, welcome, any questions that come up, pop them onsite and answers will be coming soon.

Welcome Cherie,

If you are close to Bloomington, Il check out the MPG thread (midwest penturners gathering). It will be held in April and would be a great oppertunity to meet some pentruners and vendors. There will also be demos that you might find informative. Hope you can find the time to join us.

I am located close to the Arkansas boarder, no where near IL. LOL. However, I will be giving a seminar at the Ohio Scroll saw show in May if that means anything.

Freddie, I think that would be too far for me to drive right now. Maybe after our grandson goes back home. Keep me updated on the dates and all please.
