Hello, my name is Mike, and I am very new to wood turning. I once made a bowl in a wood shop class about 20 years ago. While i was at my parents house this year at Thanksgiving I saw the bowl, and it renewed my interest. I received a Lathe as a Christmas, and since then I have made 2 slimline pens, and a whole bunch of sawdust ... I have a lot to learn, but I am having a really good time with it. I am glad to have found this web site.
