Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have been reading the forums for some time and decided it was time to become a member

Thank you for taking the time to provide all the great information available here.

I have been turning pens off and on for a while but never quiet caught on how to apply a good finish. I'm working on it though.

Here are a few I did over the weekend.

also welcome!! Be sure to check the local chapter forum, we started a Central Arkansas chapter this summer, and have a meeting setup in cabot on dec 4, around 10am, open to all comers! nice looking batch,
 
Welcome to the madness. And a great start.

As asyler said, come join our meeting on the 4th. I'm probably going to miss it, but it should be a lot fun. The good part is that this meeting won't interfere with a razorback game. I was probably the only one who was lucky enough to see all the 4th quarter of the A&M game. Everyone else had further to drive.
 
Welcome James. I used to live in Conway and my daughter teaches in Cabot. There is a local Arkansas chapter that meets in Little Rock also. Nice work on the pens.
