Hi all, I am new to the site. I am 29 years old and learned the craft with my dad in my early teens. He was gracious enough to give me the ol' Jet lathe and drill press. I just lost my job so I am filling the time with pen making in hopes to make a little money on the side. Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome!

Welcome from NC! Sorry to hear about the loss of your job. Those are beautiful pens, but I don't know that you can pay the bills selling pens. I'd be happy to be wrong about that.
