Hello everyone, my name is Branden. I started turning pens back in February. I made my first few slimlines and everyone said I was like a "duck on water" Since then I have turned hundreds of pens and sold almost as many. I have recently started learning advanced turning such as blank casting and closed end pens. I would soon like to make a kit-less pen.

I would like to know when and where the next meeting is so I can attend.

Welcome Brandon - It sounds like you've been bitten by the turning bug.

This is a great place to learn, lots of very smart folks here.

Pen pics

Here are a few pics per your requests. Go easy on me, I have only been turning since January. The first one is a closed-end Slimline with an M3 Damascus band. The second one is a majestic Jr. in M3 Metal black and red. The Last one is my first semi-successful attempt at casting my own blanks. The material is carbon fiber and blue fiberglass. This pen still has its flaws but it is the first pen I was able to make out of my cast blanks.
