I am working on making a Cajun Oven (hey, I have plenty of wood pieces too small for pens but I'm too cheap to toss). Anyway, is there some type of adhesive or caulk or silicone that is resistant to heat? The inside of the box is tin and I need to seal the seams of the tin joints and also where the tin meets the outer wooden shell. These parts will not be in direct contact with the fire but I figure it will be around 300-400 degrees. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Eugene

Refractory sealant -- the stuff that is used in kilns and gas forges. I will dig out the propane forge stuff if you need better reference/sources.
