Has anyone turn any of these?

Penn State has these on sale (https://www.pennstateind.com/store/KSNECBR.html) and I am think about turning them for the grandkids. Some of the reviews aren't too kind and allude to assembly issues. So, before I spend my money, I'd thought see if any one had any experience with them.

Followed the instructions without issue on about 10 of them. A learning curve; but the instructions are clear.
