Has Anyone Ever Tried These?

Although I rarely make pens anymore, I still see things and wonder how it look turned or if it was cast and turned. It just doesn't leave you once you get hooked on it.

This is one I've thought about for a long time and don't remember seeing the cast. These are the "seed pods" off of an arborvitae bush, I think. We have a row of them across the front of our property. Has anyone tried them and if so do you have a picture of the results?

I've cast alot of items last year and they have turned out very well. Not that particular seed pod but I have some seed pods that look very close to it. I will be working with them real soon.

I'm now casting sweet gum seed pods (and selling them). Send me some of those. I'll cast 'em for ya and you can see what you think.

Ya, looking at that picture when you posted it before is what reminded me of the ones I asked about.
