Hard Maple and Padauk sandwiched centerband

Brazilian Cherry with sandwiched hard maple and padauk center band.

I like to have a few of these glued-up sandwiches marked with alternating drill and cut lines.
Drill 1/4" holes and turn with the rest of the pen on a mandrel.
I find it's a simple way to level up the standard slimline kit.

I like the way the upper barrel overlaps the lower; I've done this myself.
