Harbor Frieght paint pot on sale

was at Harbor Frieght today, picking up measuring tapes for Father's day. I saw they have the paint pot on sale for $59.99

Are these just as good for vacuum stabilizing as they are for pressure purposes??? I would assume so, but I'd like the opinion of someone who has tried it.

Picked up mine today and have it fully modified but the relief valve is leaking. That is a job for tomorrow......
