Anyone know how to find out if a package has been shipped from harbor freight? I tried their website and it shows the cartons and items and says parcel freight on it. Doesn't say if it's been shipped or not. Called and must have got a new person because they didn't seem to be very helpful either.

I've had HF ship a couple of things over the years. It took awhile for the stuff to get here but it eventually made it.

I'd call again . . . and, if I didn't get a half-way intelligent answer . . . ask to speak to their supervisor. :D

I've ordered from them a couple of times. 2 to 3 weeks average. Which I think is terrible. Which means it takes up to 2 weeks to get it to their dock. Very poor shipping management.

First and ONLY time I ordered, waited a week, called and was given a Fedex tracking #. Tried to track it with no luck. Item turns up 2 weeks later in the MAIL!
Not the sharpest knives in the drawer IMHO.

I have used it a couple times and both times it was slow shipping and no tracking number. It took about 3 weeks if I remember correctly on the first one and just over 2 weeks for the second. Both items came in ok with no damage.

On average for me (US delivery) it takes 4 to 6 weeks. I have ordered from them off and on since they were a California only store. I don't order if I need it "now". I had a grinder with a stripped gear and ordered it 2 months ahead of my trip to the US last year. It was there when I got there. This year, I did the same for a pressure switch to a air compressor. I dropped something heavy on the pressure switch of my air compressor and broke it. The HF AC switch was the similar and it was considerably less expensive for the same thing at Granger.

When ordering from HF for parts or other items, you have to plan them well in advance to be on the safe side.
