You had Pilgrims too? Just kidding. But, it would be interesting to hear about your Thanksgiving.
Canadian thanksgiving is different in that we're giving thanks at the end of the harvest season...much of Canada's economy is based on agriculture, so this was originally created as a day of thanks for a bountiful harvest...Always takes place on the second Monday in October.
It's also a day to watch a double-header of CFL football!
