Handmade Ring Box

Had some fun making this wooden ring box for my wife. I used Zebra Wood and Oak. Would have preferred to use Walnut instead of the oak but didn't have any on hand. I used a metal hinge, but next time I plan to make a wooden hinge.

Nice job. just one comment, you need to use pan head screws on that hinge.

Looks good!

"Dowel centers" (or "dowel transfer pins") make it easy to leave a dimple in the lid at the center of a hole in the box body. Here's one example.
