With three lathes, it became impossible to add another. I had a hard decision to make. My Rikon was chosen as the sacrificial lamb.:frown::frown:

I just couldn't help it..... Gone forever.......:frown::frown:

The sadness didn't last long as I waved goodbye to its new owner driving off.:rolleyes::rolleyes: Mourning is over and a new chapter is on the horizon. It's place is now filled with THIS::biggrin::biggrin:

I hope I learn to use it soon. The bad thing is we are going out of town tomorrow for 3 days. Will my mind be there or itching to get back home?

We'll see.

It's sad to see old friends go but I think your new friend will be good to you . At least I hope because I just received the same type of friend the other day . The deal was just TOO good to pass up . HF put it on sale for $399 and I had a 15% coupon so I walked out with it for $339 . I really wanted the Micromark 7x14 but for $300 less I can console myself with allot more goodies for it .

Make sure you cover it up. The wood dust can do "wonders" to the electronics. I use my metal lathes more than my wood lathes. With one similar to that and an old Atlas I can do enough to keep me busy forever.
