YouthMinisterDan AKA Dan Eakins was up in OKC to visit family and contacted me to see if he could visit and as I have told all members my house is always open. We spent around 5 hours just talking, turning and finishing pens then went out for lunch. Dan turned one of my Florentine pens and wet sanded the finish, it came out stunning, wish I had a picture but Dan took it with him, He also put a CA finish like I do on some BOW and we assembled that on a Black Ti Jr. Gent Fountian Pen for Cody, the only photos I have is of Dan putting the CA finish on the BOW.

It is great to meet and talk with another penturner as they understand what you are talking about, when I try speaking to my wife about my hobby you can tell she isn`t interested! :yawn: :giggle:
 
It was a great day...The only way that I was able to get even around any pens or a shop is because I came to my parents in Oklahoma and they kept my kids so that I could go over to Roy's, my wife is away at a scrapbooking retreat and will not be back till Sunday.

It was truly an honor to get to meet yet another great member of the IAP family. Roy is really neat guy and I learned a few things that I think will help me when I get back to Texas.
