Had our first child, a boy, on September 29 at 10:32pm. His name is Micah James. He was 10.0 lbs, 22" long, and all around healthy. He has a full head of brown hair and even some blond "highlights". We are both very happy and my wife is doing well.

Of course he has a pen coming, I just need Ken to do some quick work for me!

That is not a baby, that is a toddler! I thought my wife was super woman having a 8lb 10 oz er then a 9 lbs 13 oz er! Congrats! Your life has now changed.
 
I've used lighter bowling balls!

Congratulations on the birth of your son! You won't get much sleep for the first few weeks, but enjoy it -- when he's 15, you'll never sleep again!

Congratulations! I'd like to show this thread to Beth, but if she finds out that yours weighs 10 pounds, then she might lose it entirely. :biggrin: Our son is due January 28.
 
Cograts to you and your wife. Its a proud moment. Glad to hear they are doing good. I hope he sleeps better than my son. He just turned seven months old and last night was the first he slept all night. Many tired days coming for you but totally worth it!
 
Congratulations to you and your wife. You will soon find it difficult to remember what life was like prior to being a dad. I have my 2 year old son, and still remember the day he was born but nothing before.
Enjoy and take lots of pictures because they grow up too fast.:)
 
Congratulations!!! That is a big boy. I'll bet he's going to be a defensive lineman. Enjoy the time you have with him. It goes so fast. My little baby has left us and gone off to college. WE rarely hear from him, and when we do, it's a word or two text message. Too busy with studies, girls and parties for his parents!!!

Zach, that is so cool, Congratulations and where are the cigars? Sounds like Micah is going to be a good size boy. I'm glad to hear that all three of you are doing well, babies are the most amazing thing in the universe, they truly are a miracle and Gods second greatest gift.
 
Congrats, Enjoy. It does not last nearly long enough if you ask me. all my babies are pretty much grown up. The good part of that is they are starting to have babies of their own now.
 
Congrats on the baby! Enjoy every moment you can while they are young for they grow up so quick you will wonder where the time went! Soon he will be wanting his own lathe, then a car, then away he goes.

I can't believe how screwed up my internal clock is after only two days...man!
