No odor at all. The wood was very wet; it was just cut down last week. Cut very easily. Turned the walls to about 1/8 inch. Hope it does not crack as it dries. I also have a knee from the tree. I will try and cut it so as to get maximum grain change. Looking foreword to that one.

I bet that is gonna look awesome after it dries completely! It will probably have some interesting warping going on.
 
It just happened. I usually try and leave some parts of the bark on my bowl turnings. This one just seemed a bit unusual.
