So far so good! Nice job, this will be helpful for a lot of people to get their heads wrapped around the idea. :)

I had no idea that DNA worked as a solvent for resin, even after all the years that I've worked with styrene based stuff! You learn something every day. heh

Keep up the good work!

DNA works nice on your hands while its still sticky!! Not great on the hard stuff!!

THanks for the responses...I video'd the last five casts that I did...several different colors and types of pours!! Ribbons are in one of the videos but I am days away from uploading that!!

Keep your eye out...If you subscribe to my channel, I think it will send you a message when I upload more videos.

Great job. Thanks a million. That's going to help a lot of people. Like you said this stuff is exspensive and we sure don't want to waste it. Can't wait to see the future videos.

Just saw part 2. If you are happy with your Steelers blank, would you be willing to sell me one?[?] My wife is a Steelers nut which leads to some interesting times here in Browns territory.[}:)]:D (I am not a Browns fan either, just happen to live here, lol[:p]:D)

I am just starting to get ready to do some casting. This video is great and will help alot. Can't wait for the rest of the videos. I tried to subscribe to your site but was not able to. I clicked on Subscribe and tried to put in my user name and it kept shutting down. Maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks again for the video.

Nice job! I watched part one, and when it was finished, I was pleasantly surprised to see part two is available. I'm antsy for the next installment!:D

It took 40 hours to upload?!? Are you connecting to you ISP via smoke signals?[)];)

I am actually using broadband internet access. youtube says that it could take btwn 1-5 mins per mb . First video was 860 mb. I have scaled the other ones down and now I am making them less than 500 but losing pic quality!!

Part 3 will be uploaded today!!

Thanks for all the positive comments

I watched all the videos. I have been thinking about trying to cast my own blanks and appreciate the effort you have already put into this project. What did you turn on in the last one to vibrate the countertop?

Ok...I used the drill to create the vibrations next to the work table...Here are pictures of the blanks prior to turning. The one set of blanks comes from the videos you have seen so far. The other is with ribbons in it and it will be coming soon.

Thanks again for all your support,

Grub32

Great idea with the stick in the drill to mix with. Just tried it and it works great. Will have to try casting again after watching this. Thanks much.

Thanks Grub the videos are just what i was looking for. #4 watched and looking forward for more.
I follow Scottish Soccer, and my team is GLASGOW CELTIC their colours are Green, White & Gold. I will be able to make my own football pens now. Is there a colour chart that will give an easyer way to work out rat ios when mixing colours together to get different shades?.

HI
Great vids. I was wondering if you would be kind enought to list mat's need to start with. I've watched your video 3-4 times. Keep missing what I need to get stated.
Thanks
Randy

I tried the tongue depressor and drill trick tonight, when I switched sticks for the various colors in the pour I kept miss-centering the thing. I switched to regular popcicle sticks and it worked just great. Now I just have to wait for later today to see how they came out.

Thanks for a great idea.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I wish I could have gotten the next series up but I have been busy with actual work. its very sad!! I hope this weekend or early next week.
