I see that it's on sale at Grizzly for 159.00. Anyone here has any experience with it and can it accept all the accecories from Tormek or Jet ?

Almost ordered it this week. It's on sale at Amazon for 119.00. I still have it in my shopping cart. I take it that it accepts all the other accecories ? Just wondering if the 10" wheel on the Grizzly is better than the 8" wheel on yours.

I took the jig guide to WC and all of the jigs that I tried on it worked just fine, now if they were not so expensive that would be great.

That would be my only question. As far as I know, the tool rest shaft is the same diameter. That is your only concern as far as tool interchangeability. For the scissor jig and the such. The knife jigs will be fine. Any jig that slides on the shaft and doesn't fit onto it. If you like, I'll run out and measure my shaft's diameter.
The one on Amazon offered free shipping didn't it? That makes it almost as good or better than CTD.

It's about 0.472. It measured between 0.469 and 0.475. Most areas were at 0.472 Thats just under 1/2" I suppose. Technically it's 59/125ths. That's what my conversion chart called it.

Thanks Steve. I'll do a little more research and make my order tonight. 159.00 plus shipping from Grizzly or 119.00 and free shipping from Amazon. Normally it would be a no brainer but kinda leaning towards the Grizz.

I purchased the Grizzly a while ago and I am very happy with it. All to tormek jigs fit fine.

I have one of the Grizzly sharpenerts, and it does work perfectly with the Tormek jigs. Also, please not the Tiger machine uses 8 inch wheel while the Grizzly uses the 10 inch. The 8 inch wheels will give you a much more hollow grind. I read a review a month or so ago comparing the Jet, Tormek anf Grizzly sharpeners. The test rankings were:
1. Tormek 7
2. Grizzly
3. Jet
I am very happy with my Grizzly.
