Occasional lurker and finally took the plunge into membership and turning.

I'm an amateur woodworker and have been turning the last few years. I did a pen turning at Woodcraft last year and now I'm lusting for my own equipment!

Bought a PSI lathe off Craigslist for $65 and I'm hot to start turning! Heck, the wife and daughters want in as well. Doesn't get any better than that!

Welcome. It's good to get them on it so you might get to keep your pens and not have them acquired by SWHTM/SWMBO like the rest of us!

It's good when everyone can share a hobby. Look for areas where interests overlap. My wife sure was surprised when I asked to borrow her rubber stamping heat gun...to help clean a rifle!
