Ok, it looks like we will have the May 4th Meeting at my house in Alvin, TX from 9-2 PM. If anybody needs directions send me a PM.

Demos:

I can do a PR casting demo.

Please post below if you will be attending and if there are any demos you would like to see or present yourself.

Plan on bringing a few blanks for trade and about $5 for pizza for lunch.

I will be there, I can volunteer for anything y'all would like to see. Vertical casting with alumilite, tube on casting, mold making, ca finishing, or waterside labeling. Just a few suggestions. Let me know and I will bring whatever supplies needed.

Yes, I do have the pressure pots.

I would like to see some cigar label casting.
 
This is too cool! I never even knew we had local areas of the forum. Learn something new everyday I reckon. Are these meetings usually once a month? I'll be down in Lake Jackson all day Saturday but would like to catch some of these.
 
Chris we have meeting about every quarter. This will be the second one of the year, To bad you won't be able to make this one it's closer to your neck of the woods.
Hopefully sea you at the next one.

Thanks, as always to Ramon and Lilly for their great hospitality! It was nice to see a small, but interest group today. We got to see some great demos and enjoyed a beautiful day in the fresh air!
 
Thanks to Ramon and his bride for thier hospitality. I haven't been turning for over a year and have to tell you "things, they are a changing". Some bright new ideas out there that weren't around when I last turned.

Thank You to everybody that attended and made it a really good meeting. It made me go back and start turning pens again. I also placed another order from PSI for the Bolt Action Pen kits. :)

Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice! Here's a pic of the Majestic Jr y'all helped me salvage, it turned out great.
