Where I am truly jeolous of my Harley friends, I finally got out on the open road. Finally great weather that allowed me to take the roof and doors of the Jeep and head out. Took the GPS and kept pressing detour. Found some pretty neat backroads and experienced some different things. One "off" road I took led me through creeks, and some pretty wild experiences. I saw a guy living in a tear-drop trailer, sitting in an old beach chair, cleaning a rifle. Down the road, I came across a family actually bathing in one of the creeks I drove through. Down the road, another creek crossing, I stopped and talked to little kids who were fishing with tree branches. When I got chased by a pack of dogs, I figured it was time to get back to civilization.
Man do we take things for granted.
