Well, we sold our house. We are buying a new one...with a shop!! The sad part is that we started packing because we are moving in 30 days. Doesnt seem to bad right? Sadly, work is going to keep me in and out of town over the next three weeks. YIKES!! I to grit and bare it, but I packed up all my pen making stuff from my basement shop!!! I am very sad.

This only took 12 GIANT boxes!! That doesn't even include the mini lathe and sharpening station. hehehe

I guess I will have to concentrate my efforts on getting the heck out and getting the heck back in so I can start participating in the anarchy again!!

Sadder note...I haven't even started to pack up my workshop from the garage yet. List of tools and supplies needing packed to big to list!

Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.

Moving closer to Cleveland...My wife works in Cleveland and now we are going to be splitting the difference. I am really glad that I pushed off installing ductwork in the garage until we moved...That would have made that a greater catastrophe.

Hopefully, by the beginning of spring, I will be all set up in my new shop and ready to make some sawdust and shavings. Cant Wait. the anticipation is making me very anxious.

I guess I have to say that we don't have much choice!! Our house sold. They gave us 45 days to move. No questions asked.

It will be a highly choreographed moving party. Lots of people and efficient will have to be the plan!!

The hard part will be the narrow time frame. That will make for some stressful nights.

Thanks for all the kind words,

If you send some boxes (12 giant ones) to some of your friends here on the IAP we can help you unpack them and save you the difficulties associated with that part of your move!

Hey Grub,
If you are not to busy yet you might post another tutorial on You Tube before you go. It will be along time before we see another one I supose. LOL Good luck.

I suppose I could post something else...I have all my pen making stuff packed, but I must say today is certainly a day that I wish I could jump on in and get something done.

Some have asked for a pressure pot segment and I can do that easily. It will give me something to think about before the nightmare of moving unfolds. I think I still even have blanks ready to be CA's and I could even make that happen. The weather here right now is -9 F...Difficult to get out and move around.

I expect once we move in, I will be up and running in a week. I dont really have a stop button once I get motivated.

I can relate to the stress... I was all packed with everything I owned sitting in the garage waiting for the truck when Hurrican Rita blew into Houston in '05. We were far enough inland that we only got rain, but did it rain... the street filled and water was half way up the driveway... if it had gotten into the garage, I had no way to get 80-100 boxes up off the floor.... My next move I'll be in a pine box and 6 strong men carrying me out.

We've been watching the weather in Cleveland & surrounding area lately... my step-son is a trucker and he was stuck there waiting for a load for 3 or 4 days when all that snow was coming down.. Good luck on the move
