Grandsons Slimlines (gun metal finish)

Completed two Slimlines for two of my grandsons. One is made from Mesquite and one is Walnut. Thought I share the finish I put on them, both were wet sanded using walnut oil to 12000 grit. The four coats of Pens Plus and topped with two coats of wax.

Real nice looking slim lines, surly your Grandsons will enjoy them, and maybe they will enjoy. Grandpa showing them how to turn. I have a you kid down the street that is starting to turn wood, has his own mini lathe and doing a great job. sure nice to mess you people getting into the skill. We get together once a week for couple hours working on his turning skills and making different stuff all the time. Pen's, bottle stoppers, spin tops and now starting on small bowls.
