On New Year's Day I started reorganizing my shop. I sold a bunch of kits I'll never use at half price and decided to move all of my wood pen blanks out of the shop to the attic. It's dryer there and there's tons of space. I got a couple of Walmart bookcases and a slew of sterilite plastic drawer units.

Whatever plastic this is can be written on with a sharpie and it wipes off with denatured alcohol, so I'm treating it like dry erase. The little drawers hold five 1x6s, or twelve 3/4x5s.

The result is I've recovered my workspace and have all my kits organized in the shop drawers with my tools.

Now I'm ready to get back to making pens! 😎

A sign of a serious pen maker: tons of plastic drawers or tons of shelves with 3/4ths filled with wood and cast blanks and 1/4th pen parts or tap and dies with related items!

Looks good Todd, except you probably didn't get enough! 🤣

Wow! I'm so impressed. I am about to tackle organization of the resin room. So many micas and blanks and it rattles my brain. I'm looking at plastic drawers as well..they do the job.

Nice neat shop. I'm hoping when it warms up to get ours in some kind or order.
