Wish I had a good answer but that stuff is just about impossible to remove without scraping or sanding once it's dry, or at least I have found nothing to remove it. It is some tough stuff, and that is why it works so good!

Greg, I remember reading a thread on removing GG quite some time ago on another forum. One of the responses was the person contacted the manufacturer and the reply was nothing known to them would dissolve their product once it dried. Sorry I cant give you some better news. I use quite a lot of it and I love and hate the stuff. It leaves a very nasty brown stain on your bare skin.[}:)]

Is it wood?? One of the nice things about GG is that it sands off or better yet with a card scraper without "staining" like yellow glue. But, yea.. I have not found anything to disolve it either!!

I over calculated (read that as I poured until I thought that would be enough then added a little more just to be sure!!) the amount needed to glue the internals into a 50 cal. casing. I'll try the acetone. At least if it softens it I can get the internals pull out and go from there.

I made a mistake, make that misteak [;)], with some Elmer's poly glue on a fine firearm. I wrote to the company for advice on removal. The reply was that, once set, there are no solvents that will act on it. The only removal method is scraping and sanding..
