Well, just got power back yesterday, so haven't been able to post. But there won't be any shop time or penturning for awhile. Survived Gustav, but not totally without damage. It could have been a lot worse, but at least no water in the house. All of the damage is over the carport. Don't let anyone ever tell you log homes aren't tough. I realy believe the damage would have been worse if this was a regular gable end. The adjuster is supose to be out Monday. But now I have to decide if to start repairs now or wait until Ike and Josephine decide what they are going to do.

I wish everyone a good and safe weekend.

Take care
Bobby

Dang, man, that's rough. Get revenge on that tree and make a bunch of blanks out of it!

Hannah moved close by my place today but was far enough that we didn't see anything but a stiff breeze and a good bit of rain.

Personally, I would WAIT to see what Ike and Josie do, particularly if the damage is not interfering with life.
