Congrats David, on all three good events. being a care giver is very hard, (ask my wife) getting your pens in the heartwood sounds like a great gig, and a cash sale Woo Pee.

Holy molly David, that's a great building...!

I had the "virtual tour" of the building, outside only and is very impressive. I wish they had a dedicated building like that near me, I would most certainly would be over the moon to be part of it.

I went trough the "list of artisans" and there are certainly a fair few in there, lots of artisans producing/showing "wood" products but only one with the tag on woodturning. Which one is you in there?

Makes a hell of a difference to expose/display your hand-made items in such a well design and placed building, compare with having to put your items in a second hand shop, open markets and $2 type shops...!:frown:

The "common" view that the type of items we produce/make/create are secondary and always of low value, give away type thing!, would certainly change from the moment one would enter such a building, half of the product sale (any item) work, would be made just by it! if you know what I mean...!:).

Congratulations...!

Cheers
George

Congratulations on your week. Thanks for sharing the link. That is a great venture and I think that I might have to come to Virginia to check it out. I was amazed by all that it will showcase and the surrounding area.
