I remember that one of our members had some buffing wheels for sale a while ago, and I'm kicking myself now for not buying some when I had the chance. I've recently started buffing some of my metalwork, and am very pleased with the results - so much so that I'm exploring it for use on my pens again (hadn't had significant enough difference to warrant the time). Does anyone have a good source for quality buffs? The ones I bought from HF seem to wear down pretty quickly.

Thanks!

You may want to try Eastwood - www.eastwood.com - The specialize in metal buffing and auto restoration. I have their compounds and they last a long time. The prices seem very good on the wheels IMHO [;)]

Try Caswell Plating http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/index.html I have been using their buffing wheels and compounds and have been pleased with the products and prices.
I use thier loose cotton, flannel and domet wheels.I also use thier fine and ultra fine plastic polish compounds.
