Well, I have gotten some help with assembling vises lately. Only problem is he goes backwards!

Well, at least he works cheap. He only wanted five pennies:D. I like the name for the future business, PH&Son Designs, althought the girls might have something to say about that. My 10 year old daughter gets the job of pressing the bushings into to jaw parts. She gets higher pay, though, at 5 cents per bushing!

He will have to charge for the peanut butter left on the vice you know.
how wonderful. it reminded me of my nephew a couple of years ago. He was around when I remodeled our house. He watched me with every tool I used then would pick them up and try using them. I was really shocked at how fast he picked up on them.

He loves tools. I loose fit the vises together with all parts and screws. He took that one apart completely. If it moves and can come apart, he usually will have it in pieces. He has 'real' tools in a bag from my oldest son. Plastic tools just don't cut it any more. When I am using something I don't let him use (which is few and far between), he will run into the house and tell momma that daddy is not sharing! My oh my. My 4 year old daughter sometimes will help big sister pull the handle on the press, and she has a small tool 'purse' of her own:)

Hey Paul... I think it's cool that you take the time to share with your kids. A lot of parents don't and then regret later the lost opportunities. We're getting ready to be empty nesters soon and I look back on the times I spent with mine and don't regret any of the time a I spent with them as lost time. Keep it up!!!
