Good first day on Lk. Michigan (caution, some blood)

First time this year fishing on Lake Michigan. My boat is still in dry dock, but a friend called and said he was going in at the southern end of the lake and did loml and I want to go fishing with him and his wife and another buddy. Oh ya. 3 1/2 hours fishing in a light, cold rain and our limit of five fish each,25 total, all young coho, great on the grill. MMM MMM good.

Did some on the grill, lemon pepper, butter, and a touch of zesty Italian dressing. It was good.

The boat goes in the water in two weeks, Stripers should start showing up in May. until then it's just brook fishing for native brookies. got to say I'm jealous but will be catching up soon.
