I like to take the time to offer a good word for those vendors who I feel meet or exceed the expected standards for customer service. I recently ordered a gallon of Silmar 41 from US Composites. When the package arrived yesterday, I pulled out a nice shiny gallon of Silmar 249. I double checked my invoice and sure enough I ordered the 41, they just shipped the wrong product. I was dreading the process of paying to ship the product back and wait for the replacement until an RMA was processed. When we called, the were very apologetic and promised to ship a new gallon of 41, as well as a shipping label to return the 249.
I was just grateful to be working with a company who was so willing to work to meet my needs; especially considering I am still waiting on an order of blanks from Penn State that was supposed to ship in early June. As of the last call they were supposed to ship on August 31st (the third such ship date I've been given). All this to say, kudos to US Composites!!
