I have thought about trying to do something similar as a Boston Celtic pen ... that would be pretty close to Celtic green in that regard. Beyond that, it's not a color that appeals to me in general. fwiw :)

It is definitely a color that would be used as an accent, or a specialty item.
I used some fluorescent green pigment with some of the laser leftovers on
exotics. The plain wood with fluorescent green shamrocks stands out.
But I don't know if I'd like one with 100% green. Would work well for
inlay, laminating, segmenting and such.. it's such a striking color.

It's not a fluorescent pigment, it's just some colors I have laying around and happened to get these results with the correct combination.
I was asked to match a blank. The fluorescent would have helped a lot! After finding true fluorescent and seeing the cost....

It looks like the synergy green camaro.

could go darker and call it an Oregon Duck blank. I agree more of an accent color, but I have a couple of folks that like green alot.

Phil

He didn't want darker... if anything, he wants it brighter.
And he is not using them as accents but, for the whole pen.
I'm going to add black lines to one... sometime.

It has been pretty popular. I have had to cast 22 of them so far.

They would look nice as a segment with a black blank.
