I played in a golf scramble last Monday and did something funky to my hand... specifically my right index finger.

Been in pain all week and finally went and to the doctor. Turns out I tore the tendon's and bone chipped an area of the joint. Now I may or may not need to see a hand surgeon, depends on how it heals.

The good news is that I can still turn, I like holding the handle in my right hand, so the guide is still in the uninjured left.

Check out the new fancy splints:

Sounds like what I did a week ago. Went out for the first time in three years and hit an honest 112 for 18 holes. I'm actually pretty happy with that considering I played the last 6 holes with a twisted wrist from digging in with the toe of the club on one fairway shot. I don't think I broke or tore anything cause mine is feeling better already. Hope all turns out well, and I seriously agree that there is more to golf than most people realize, including injuries.
