Golden Pheasant Feathers

Polyester Resin casting I poured yesterday and turned this morning.
Used one layer of Almond Church Windows and some Blue Neck Tippets.
Sanded to 400 grit, buffed with fine steel wool and polished with Huts Ultra Gloss.

VERY NICE

Please tell some of your technique. What glue are you using to lay your feather on the tube. It is compatible with the resin very nice and you didn't get any air in there also very nice. I see you extend your feathers past the end of the tube then cut them off. But there not tied on cause you can see the tips of feathers half way through the tube. Very nicely executed.

You have obviously worked out some problems. Please share after all this is the casting forum where we help each other with new casting techniques.
